We encourage all attendees to check-in anytime during the evening of Thursday, Oct 11 after 5:00pm. We'll be up late if you want to arrive late in the evening. The cost of your registration covers your lodging for both Thursday and Friday night! You can also check-in Friday morning. We will hit the ground running with a full day on Friday! (see schedule information below) Check-in will occur at the Koehler Lodge - download the campus map so you'll know where to go once you arrive at Windermere.

Go ahead and download the schedule for Hyphen Retreat. We'll have a full day on Friday, and a morning session on Saturday before we depart.

Our gatherings will be very simple by design. We will have a short acoustic worship set and then enter into a time of ministry with our speaker. We aim to be responsive to God's Spirit so He can refresh, focus, challenge, and inspire us.

Meals & Lodging

All meals are provided. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Friday and breakfast on Saturday. You'll want to grab dinner on Thursday evening before arriving at Windermere.

As mentioned above, your lodging for both Thursday and Friday is included in the cost of registration. While there are no large "camp dorm" facilities, young adults will be lodging together, "retreat style" with 3-6 to a room. All rooms have private bathrooms.

Attire & Items to Bring

We encourage everyone to be casual during Hyphen Retreat. There will be outdoor activities available like frisbee, campfire, and trails. Check the weather forecast and pack accordingly!

Bed linens and towels will be provided. You'll need to bring any toiletries, including shampoo and soap.

Join the Text Group

We're asking all attendees to join the MO Hyphen text group by texting @mohyphen to 81010. It's as easy as that! We will communicate announcements through texts during the event.

Day of Prayer

We are designating Tuesday, October 9 as a day of prayer and fasting for the Hyphen Retreat. Let's unify together in spiritual preparation and anticipation of the Spirit's ministry to us during this special event.

What is Hyphen Retreat?

  • Central Location

    3 hours from St. Louis

2 hours 45 minutes from Kansas City

This year's Hyphen Retreat is centrally located, directly on the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks near the community of Roach, Missouri in Camden County.

  • Comfortable Accomodations

Hyphen attendees will be staying at the Koehler Lodge and Redbud Lodge. You'll be lodged together in rooms that hold 5-6 young adults and offer a private bathroom and shower. There are large common areas for socializing and reconnecting with friends.

  • Spiritual Ministry

We are anticipating a move of God's Spirit that challenges young adults. God's Word will be imparted in a way that leads to deep spiritual formation for everyone in attendance. This year's Hyphen Retreat speaker, Scott Shelton, is from Fort Smith, AR.

  • Reconnect with Friends

There will be plenty of time for making new connections and hanging out with friends. It's a time of fellowship you won't want to miss!

  • All-Inclusive

Your registration for Hyphen Retreat covers everything about the event: lodging, meals, and activities. All you have to do is GET THERE!
